As Chuck Hartell gazes out this kitchen door at this vegetable garden, a quiet joy energizes him for the amazing bounty to be shared with family and friends. For Chuck, gardening perfectly mirrors the very essence of life. No matter what the weather is like each year you learn to work under the conditions you are given. Born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin, Chuck was working three jobs by the time he was in high school. He paid his way through college graduating with a degree in both English and Art and with no debt. After working as a locomotive engineer and sheep farming, he listened to his parents suggestion "you will never know if real estate works for you until you try." He began helping Mom, a 30+ year real estate professional, and soon was flying solo.

 

Today in the Twin Cities he can look back on serving over 1000 families helping to accomplish their real estate dreams. Chuck feels that the most important skill required to be successful in real estate is the ability to truly listen to your clients. In addition to working with many satisfied buyers and sellers, he has developed a special niche in new construction and land development. He has helped sell and market developments of over 100 acres worth millions of dollars. "The land comes first and then we create your future today," designing and building with a quality builder. With this multitude of skills his history continues with helping families sell their current home and build their dreams.  

 

Chuck has discovered with age the wisdom of understanding everything changes, but with personal discipline you can be consistent in discovering new and better ways to serve others. He continues to workout four days a week after 30 years of sweat. Practicing ballroom dancing for over a decade has helped keep him quick and teaches the memory process to learn the new patterns and routines. He would prefer a book over television and has reading in his everyday schedule. To quiet his mind from this busy schedule, he has put the discipline of meditation into the dawn of each day. Chuck incorporates the idea of Taizan, constant and never ending improvement in both his professional and personal life. This has given him the following success and accomplishments. 

 

 

1. Experience. He has over 1,000 listings and sales in his 24 plus years of real estate service. He has completed many land developments, including a 200 acre parcel.  

 

2. Commitment. When he partners to sell your home he will provide a comprehensive market analysis where we agree on the listing price range. He has a written 17 step marketing plan. We will sell your home if it takes a day or a year.  

 

3. Service. Chuck has a unique "Preferred Buyers Program" making it fun and much easier to purchase your next home. 

 

4. Passion. Over 50% of Chuck's current clients are referrals or past clients, which is no greater sign of success for an agent in todays market.
 

On a personal level, Chuck's passion is Green/sustainable new construction. He has a commitment to stop global warming before the tipping point. He wants a happy planet for his granddaughter, Layla.
